JUNIOR SECTION
We're proud of our Junior Section here at Heworth, having grown the junior membership significantly in recent years.
The section is now well established with many young golfers of mixed abilities making up the junior membership, with ages ranging up to age 21 years old.
Children of all abilities are welcome and interested parents or juniors should contact the club secretary via email on secretary@theheworthgolfclub.co.uk
During the summer months the club will host coaching sessions for any of our junior members to attend, which will be bookabe via the office or our Pro-Shop.
The Junior Section is led by a Junior Committe and has a named Club Welfare Officer in Olivia Douglas. The club also has the England Golf SafeGolf accreditation highlighting its committment to the safety and welfare of children and young people as well as vulnerable adults at risk.
We love our Junior Section here at Heworth, encouraging a younger generation to take up and love the great game. We always make new juniors welcome and hope to see you enjoying all the club has to offer soon!
HEWORTH ACADEMY COURSE & JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
Heworth Golf Club has an excellent Academy Course with tee boxes suitable for beginners of all ages. Junior Membership at Heworth starts at only £20 per year for primary school age, £50 for secondary age children and heavily discounted membership rates for juniors up to the age of 21 years old.
