North Durham Union League 2
06-05-25
In the first league match of the season, our men's team drew 7-7 at home with Hobson. There were wins for Jason McGuire, Mark McAllister and John Scott, a halved match for Aaron Scott and narrow defeats for Bryan Ross, Jonathan Scott and Nat Bell.
North East Junior League
01-05-25
Well done Heworth Juniors on their 7-3 home victory over our near neighbours Ravensworth, just beating the fading light.
Well done Adam, Lewis, Lucas, Johnny and Scotty.
Just as important was the excellent turnout, with our reserves getting 9 holes in, thanks to the Ravensworth JLO Neil Burke for accompanying them.
Thanks to Euan and Josh for supporting the team during their matches.
North Durham Union of Golf Clubs Knockout

Congratulations to the Heworth Team of
Rob Atkinson (Capt), Scott Walters, Michael Walker, Ben Samuels and Dom Armstrong on their 5-0 win over Seaham.
Heworth face Consett & District in the next round.
The Men's team face Seaham in the Clark Cup on Friday 16th May.

Durham County Golf Union Foursomes
12-04-25
Unfortunately our men's foursomes team of Bryan Ross and Jason McGuire lost out 3 & 1 in the first round at Hartlepool, to a strong Whickham side, who went on to beat Wearside 7 & 6 in the afternoon matches.

Great news!
Heworth members can now enjoy 50% off standard green fees at Consett & District Golf Club seven days a week, with tee times available after 1pm on weekends.
All rounds must be pre-booked directly with Consett & District and are subject to availability, so be sure to give them a call before you play.

DCGU County Card
Members should also be aware that as part of your county affiliation fees you are entitled to carry a 'County Card' available from the office. This gives you discounted rates at many courses both within Durham County Golf Union (Old County Durham boundaries) and also some courses around the country.
